If you are not happy with the cleaning service you received you should contact us at BookaCleaner immediately.  We will help you with any concerns you may have.  You can request a copy of the complaints policy if it has not been made available to you already.

Making changes

I want to change my booking

If you wish to change your booking you may cancel the initial order then place a new order with the correct booking details.  Please note that you cannot cancel bookings due in less than 48hrs.  If you wish to make any changes please contact BookaCleaner immediately.

I want to cancel a booking

You can cancel your booking if it is more than 48 hrs before the scheduled booking.  If you forget to cancel your booking on-time you will not receive a refund.  However, you may contact the us directly to re-arrange your booking in the same week in case of emergencies which we will do our upmost to accommodate at our discretion.   Please note that we may be unable to re-schedule your booking due to lack of capacity.


Is it safe to book cleaners online?

All Cleaners listed are DBS Checked.  As part of our commitment to promote safe cleaning services to members of the public we do carefully interview and vet our cleaners with a minimum of 2 references.

What is Health & Safety?

Health & Safety regulations and procedures aims to prevent accident or injury in workplaces or public environments.

What does this mean form me?

Cleaners are aware of health and safety procedures and may sometimes decline to carry out tasks that could put their health & safety at risk and to those around her.

Please ensure children, vulnerable persons or pets remains out of the way of cleaners when cleaning products are in use.

Please refrain from asking cleaners to carry our tasks which are not on the discussed cleaning requirements assessment.


What type of services can I book online?

Only one off bookings can be paid online. All other regular cleans will be invoiced monthly in advance as we pre-book our cleaners on the specific that was mutually agreed.

Do you do other specialised cleans, i.e oven clean etc..

Yes, we can substitute one of your regular cleans for a specialist clean i.e oven clean, carpet clean, which may be provided by a different specialised cleaning operative.

This will have to be arranged directly through us.

Is it safe to pay online?

Your payment will be processed by World Pay. Worldpay is a global leader in payments processing technology and solutions for our merchant customers and is currently a safe way to pay online.  Visit for more information.

You can also make payment by Bank Transfer or by Cheque

How do I pay for regular cleans?

You will be invoiced monthly and payments can be made by bank transfer or standing orders from you bank account.

Do you accept cash payments?

Unfortunately our cleaners do not handle cash payments for security reasons.

If you would like to discuss other payment arrangements if unable to access telephone or internet banking please contact us and we will be happy to discuss alternative arrangements.

I did not get the service. Do I get my money back?

If you did not receive the service you paid for, you must contact us immediately.

If the cleaner has failed to provide the service you paid online we will refund the payment in full.


How do I leave a compliment

Compliments are very important to our cleaning operative as it enhances their job satisfaction and it is always nice to be recognised and appreciated.
